To get yourself floating boats, type in this command into a command block and power it. A floating boat will appear and you can ride it up to the highest heavens. Use water for ramps. COMMAND:/summon boat ~ ~ ~ {NoGravity:1}

To get yourself quicksand, put this command into a repeating, unconditional command block and power it. Next, all you want to do is to dig out a 2 deep hole so you can put cobwebs underneath a layer of sand. Now, when you walk over the sand with cobwebs underneath, you will get teleported under the sand, into the cobwebs, sucking you up and suffocating you.

Lastly, to get yourself better blocks, type in this command into a repeating command block and power it.
COMMAND:/execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ <block> -1 /effect @p <effect> 1 0 true
As said earlier by Jeff the announcer [HEY YO] You can replace the block with a block ID of your choice, as well as replace the potion effect with an effect of your choice.
