Embora se chame Fragata não é nenhum navio de guerra mas sim um barco para transporte de carga e as vezes passageiros entre Lisboa e outras cidades e vilas do RioTejo.
Em tempos que ja não voltam haviam muitas centenas delas no Rio Tejo,Hoje só deve haver umas 20 e só servem para passeios turisticos.



Although Call Frigate is not a warship but a boat which transport cargo and sometimes passengers between Lisbon and other cities and villages of River Tagus.
In times already gone there were many hundreds of them on the Tagus River, today there may be only 20 and only serve for tourist rides.
