Here is the Steps of how to download a map:

Step 1- download any map and open it with WinRAR or 7zip and extract it.

Step 2- go to start then run type %appdata% double click on .minecraft folder

Step 3- find a folder called Saves double click on it drag the map folder into the Saves folder.

Step 4- open minecraft and you are done
