Hi everyone! Sorry about the reuploaded project. When I was editing my original project and went to save, I clicked "delete" by accident and didn't notice, then I just clicked ok and it took about 10 seconds for me to realise what I just did. (I feel so stupid....) This is the SAME project as before. 



This is the newest area of the my modern city project that I have finished. Its called the Garden District. The area is south of Downtown and has more variety in buildings. There is a mix of modern/old and mid/high rise buildings, as well as some lowrise houses. 

This area of the city has 17 fully furnished/detailed buildings and many parks (hence the name, Garden District).

I will now be moving on to build a low rise residential area south of the Garden District.

thanks i just downloaded it not because its cool but i want to see how u guys architect the buildings and make it i get alot of ideas from this my next building/challange to make is new york Central Park your buildings are greate for in my central park diamond4u

You can extend on the city if you like, just if you are going to post it as a project, try to focus on the parts of the city you added for the pictures and such, and give a little credit somewhere. Other than that, just hope you enjoy the map :)

a lot of people get the idea that 'modern' buildings have to look exotic and white and smooth, which is certainly not the case. you have proved that by making absolutely incredible buildings that aren't necessarily modern but give the impression that the city is in a modern day setting. the brick townhouse is an example. great work and you definitely deserve all the recognition you are getting from your city :)

Thank you very much, it really is greatly appreciated. Overall for my buildings I try to experiment more with different materials and styles, I liked the smooth modern look of buildings but found they started to sort of make the city look a bit plain so I tried to shake things up a bit with new materials. :)

I think some people have a bit of trouble with the map, like occasionally someone will download and nothing be there. Usually its fixed by redownloading I think. I still don't know what causes it though.

I really love this area! The mix of Pre-War and Modern buildings is great, and I love that it is broken up with parks, just as all modern cities should be!
