Hello again! This map is and was simple morning project I knocked out one day while thinking of new build ideas. It's not a large castle nor a steampunk contraption this time, but rather a nice reference to the earlier history of games. Although I don't know much about the game of chess, I thought it would make a perfect build idea/Minecraft map. My brother and I use to play chess all the time, wizard chess to be exact. But he always beat me at the game, and I haven't played much in years. However just the other day my brother showed me a music video with a chess set in it, and I was inspired to build this map. It includes all the pieces necessary to play the game, and if you use mods to copy and paste the pieces, then the map is relatively functional with the same rules as actual chess. Either way it looks great with shaders and many good ideas could come from this map. I hope you enjoy and have a great day. (Since white pieces move first, I set the spawn to that side of the board)
