As Steve's vision started to clear he saw a giant half human half dog entity with glowing eyes standing before him. It looked like something he once saw in an old book written about time's long past. He though to himself could it be - Annubis the god of the underworld?

A moment passed and Steve realized, he wasn't just standing before the being, in fact he was floating on a small chunk of sand. Steve felt an ominous presence lurking near: "What sorcery is this" he thought to himself. Then he realized, the being in front of him wasn't just a statue, it was ALIVE

Steve stood up and asked the figure: "Where am I, am I dead?"
A deep voice answered: "No Steve, you are very much alive, I am here to guard this place for all eternity"

After that Steve started talking to the giant entity and started to realize the situation. He had stumbled upon the temple of Life, an mystical oasis in the middle of the dessert. And in fact, the book he read long ago was wrong, this being isn't just a god of death, he does take humans away, but not to the underworld, but in spaceships to other lands, where they may continue to serve him. "This explains the sarcophagus resembling a stasis pod" Steve thought to himself. And the spaceship above is currently charging it's engine for departure.

The being spoke: "In the middle of the temple is the world tree, giving all the water in the world. Under it in the room below is the holy grail, drink from it's pond and you will never be thirsty again. The ship above can take you anywhere you want, it's up to you, but be careful Steve, for the desert is hot and full of snakes." The being then stopped speaking continued to wach the endless desert.

"I hope this is real, and i am not just passed out in the sand somewhere, since the part about the holy grail just seems a little too much" said Steve, as he started to explore the temple
