I've always avoided making Phantoms wherever possible due to the extreme curves and slopes necessary to make the model look good. Most of my models these days make use of orthographic projections, which is really useful when you have something with sharp angles that can be easily measured and built in Minecraft - the Phantom has barely any of these.
However, I think this build came out spectacularly. If you squint just right, it looks like it was taken right out of the game. This particular model is based on the Halo 3 version, but with some modifications to the colour and minor shape changes you could easily retrofit this to be the Reach or Halo 4 model. I was thinking about doing a separate Halo 2 model due to the additional turrets and other shaping changes, but I'm unsure if I'll do this yet.
This will be coming as a tutorial on my channel, and will also be available as an instant download via my webstore. Keep an eye out!
