HMS Vanguard is a standard type of 74 gun ship she is the classic example of a 3rd rate ship of the line.
hms vanguard was an Arrogant class ship of the line and she was lord Nelson’s flag ship at the Nile in 1798
she also has a notable sister ship HMS Bellerophon.
