This is an 1:1 replica of the imperial japanese battleship Fuso from the year 1944.
Like the original ship, the model has a length of 213 blocks and a width of 33 blocks!
The building time of the Fuso was from 1912 to 1913, and after the building being finished, the Fuso and it's sister ship Yamashiro were the strongest ships in the world!
They were modernized in the 1940's, including a complete rebuild of the super-structure.
In WW2 both ships weren't used to fight enemy warships, but to secure own transports.
After the most of the IJN aircraft carriers were sunk, the Fuso and the Yamashiro were send with the fleet of Admiral Nishimuras
to the battle of the Sibuyan and both were sunk by american warships and planes at october 25th 1944.
