Description:
This world is a direct 1:1 scale representation of an area in Istanbul (Karakoy) in 1952. The map contains the highest level of details of decorations on the exterior and in some cases interior. You will be able to walk through the streets of Istanbul of the past, as it once looked like at a particular time, in 1952.

Process:
The process took me around 2 months, as it is a big-scale project, but at the same time very dense, which means that in a smaller area there is a higher amount of buildings, narrow streets, and narrow, tall buildings. As I always do, in this project I wanted to rich the highest level of historical accuracy as I have never done before, I had to search for a lot of pictures, then from this, I went on looking at the old maps of 1957, 1966 and so on, but the problem was that in each year Karakoy looked different because buildings were being demolished so I also had to make sure which year they were demolished, so through all this, I realized the best year is 1952, not too far away, not too modern either, with still all the demolished buildings in place. As I was doing the research I realized how unfortunate it is to see the city as it once looked like in the past, but if I go to this area today there's almost nothing left of it, thus, I can truly state with honor that in my world, these buildings will forever exist and you will always be able to look at them even though they're gone in the real world.

Important:
- every single building existed in 1952, but around 40% of those are now destroyed
- every single item in the world is historically accurate to its time
- the area I covered is Karakoy, one of the oldest and most beautiful areas in Istanbul
- some houses are furnished fully, and all of them are different in their own way, make sure to find and stay in every one of them for a while :D
- all boats are fully furnished

- not everything is finished, I will add new streets with future updates​
