Description:
This project was both inspired by the movie "Ex_Machina" and the Juvet Landscape Hotel.
This is due to the fact that the mansion displayed in the movie was based on the real life Juvet Landscape Hotel in Norway.
The original hotel, however, is not a coherent building but rather comprised of many different rooms, scattered across a valley in the norwegian fjords.
Fascinated not only by the great architecture but also the astonishing landscape that surrounded it, I decided that I wanted to create something that had a similar vibe to it in Minecraft.
Therefore, I searched for the blueprints of the Juvet Landscape Hotel to create the foundation for my building. I decided to only replicate one of the bigger rooms of the hotel, that is also prominently featured in the movie.
Originally, it is only a room dedicated to wellness-purposes, which is why I came up with a lot of the furniture seen in this build myself.
