The LC-130R is one of the various LC-130 Skibird Models. The R-model was first designated in 1968, and a further number were delivered in the mid 1970's ('74 and '76). The LC-130s have been used primarily to deliver cargo to places like McMurdo Station in the South Pole, or in general to ice-covered areas. Their striking skis are unique to them, and they are one of the few Hercules models (other than Fat Albert) that are outfitted with JATO or RATO bottles.

This specific livery is that of the LC-130R L-382 model.

I've been meaning to make a Skibird build for a while now- I didn't know it would end up being this livery though, which I quite like.
