In Linear, as opposed to Sphaerica, you will find a completely linear world which you can explore
(not in all directions, a cardinal one is perfectly adequate).
Follow the line and be sure to
remember that you will be a three-dimensional entity in an one-dimensional reality!
Well, running in circles is unfortunately probably not an option here.
On the other hand, you won't have to think much about it to get ahead...

- render distance: everything feasible, there are forcibly loaded chunks...
- clouds: off (You don't have to see them, they will confuse you.)
