Xtreme Minecraft Realism
X.M.R. (Xtreme Minecraft Realism) is a new video series, where I try to recreate real life scenes in Minecraft as realistic as possible. In this case I created a London Underground station called Pimlico. The only reference I used to create this scene were images from this station. So I actually never visited this place. :O
The only mod used in the video and screenshots is OptiFine allowing the use of the Shader SEUS Renewed. The objects you can see in the video are custom models, that were created by me and gathered in a resource pack. So this is actually a vanilla Minecraft map. A "Making Of" can be found under this text, showing you the tricks used to create this immersive scene!

This is very impressive. Building out of imagination is one thing, but recreating a real life location is totally different and a lot harder. I love your renders, at first glance I wouldn’t have thought this was Minecraft!

Wow! I've never seen anything like this in nearly 5 years of being on PMC. There was certainly A LOT of time and effort put into this! I was halfway through the video before I realized it was even Minecraft haha! Great job lad! :)

Yep, that's realistic alright. It's so well done that I'm having a difficult time identifying the scale of blocks. It seems like normal MC scale but the texture resolution, detailed objects and angled ceiling throw me off :) Looking forward to seeing more in this series.
