The Maximilianeum was named after its builder King Max II of Bavaria, father of the famous King Ludwig II, and was finished 10 years after the King's death in 1874. It was intended to house talented Bavarian students for free, and after World War II also the Bavarian Parliament.
The classicistic building is located between Maxvorstadt and Haidhausen, Munich, close to the river Isar, and is surrounded by a small forest.
The Bavarian Parliament can be found in the second floor. Whereas the Senate is in already finished, and in its state before it was abolished in 2000 after a referendum. Its only purpose was to advise the "Landtag" and the Bavarian government.
The "Landtag" consists of about 180 MPs and often the Bavarian national Party CSU has the abslute majority.

The only thing is the statue from the reference picture seems to be missing.
I'm yet not certain wether I should wait for armor stands or if I should just build the angel.
And actually, I'm quite horrible at statues :S.
Try to use a block type with slabs and stairs and play some things. From afar you can't really see it if it is ugly or not.
Though an angel might be a lot easier than a human, because of the wings everyone will recognize it.
BTW: a more modern picture; the small statues are sth for armor stands (sponge when will you finally release :S?)
