Something I've always wanted to see is a Minecraft Choose Your Own Adventure Map. Some of you may know what this is. Some of you may not. Choose Your Own Adventure was a type of book made some time back where the reader could do just that: Choose their own adventure. This was done by deciding which page to turn to. For example, if the first choice was to turn left or right, one option would be on one page, and the other option would be on a different page.
So, Choose Your Own Adventure is something that hasn't really been done in Minecraft. There have been many short maps, but as far as I know, Choose Your Own Adventure is something nobody has really taken the time to do. Maybe because it's tedious, maybe because people haven't thought about it. Either way, I'm going to do it. But like I said, it's tedious and takes time.
Now, my building skills aren't the best, so those skilled in Minecraft architecture and redstone are my main priority. Also, I need good server mods that can help with building, and they need to be compatible with the regular minecraft server. I'm not sure if Bukkit mods also work on the regular Minecraft server. Finally, I can't come up with all of the story on my own, so I'm going to need a few people to help with brainstorming and text writing. Most of the dialogue will be out of game, with the exception of times when quick choice need to be made(i.e. do you accept the quest or refuse the quest). P.S. Server ill be on between 10 A.M. and 6 P.M. Eastern Time on most days. Sometimes it will be up for longer. Sometimes it will be off for longer. Sometimes it will be off the entire day.

The current theme is a concentration camp/quarantined desert style area. Guard towers, large but cramped buildings, and work stations are what we're looking for right now.
The three categories of workers we're going to need for building:
Laborers: Wall construction, terraforming, and leveling. Maybe assisting in the building of large constructions. This is currently the most needed job, as the biome being worked on is very large and very unleveled.
Redstoners: Currently, redstone is a lower priority. Automatic sentries, lighting, and large doors are the only things needed at the moment. This setting is not very advanced. In fact, it is quite the opposite.
Architects: Anyone skilled in designing Minecraft architecture would be appreciated. Large, but not necessarily impressive structures are what we need in the current region. Prisons, large but compact buildings, work places(i.e. mines, mills, factories). Anything that might be found in a concentration camp style place.

Choose Your Own Adventure is something seldom done in Minecraft, and when it is done, it's usually very short or not very in-depth. For anyone who saw the last post, you know that I've been using the default minecraft server provided by Mojang. Now the CraftBukkit server is back up, and the whitelist is down. Why? Because I've added rankings. Any new player will be set to default, and will need to be given permission to do anything.
