Not bad! You should add some screenshots / video of it in action. Do you just flip the lever and it starts counting? How fast does it count? Can you reset it?

amm i dint though about reseting, but this is useing bufer ring, and thats why it only goes to 00 after it reaches 99, yes you flip the lever and it goes, and you can add button in the lever spot, and it will go 1 number up, and how fast i cant say, but its variable.

Yeah, there's no easy way to reset piston tape. One option would be to have 2 sets of piston tapes. While the first set is being used for counting, the other is being reset to 0. Then when the reset button is pushed, the display switches to the 2nd piston tape (which is sitting at 0) and starts counting using it, while the 1st piston tape then starts resetting to 0.

For the reset mechanism, you could make it work the fastest by having the system continue counting forward to 0 if the current number is >= 50, and count backward to 0 if the number is < 50.

ok, i see you are a bit more advanced in the hole redstone circutry :DD i know what are you triing to say, but to make the piston tape move backwards its a bit complicated, but that i think i would make, but swich betwen 2 sets of piston tapes i would need 4 piston tapes, and make them change via rs nor lach and 2 output piston transistor??? couse i cant think any other way and this way looks hard :D

Consider it a challenge! The best part about figuring stuff like this out, is that it often inspires you to make other devices out of the things you learn along the way

OMG i found a way, i will upload when i will make it, it will be much easyer then the 2 sets of piston tape :D
