This is a project that I had worked on over 2 years ago but never got around to finishing and has haunted me ever since. I finally finished it up and am working on a second better version of this that will actually be playable without the constant fear of it destroying itself.

This Redstone machine is a deckbuilding card game! fight 18 different minecraft mobs (including 3 "bosses") and purchase stronger cards from the shop to further your arsenal. This game is mostly a proof of concept and is largely unchanged from when I built it in early 2021. It works pretty well as long as you only play cards on your turn and while the lamp that tells you if you can play cards is on. (and if you steal from the shop it can break, so don't do that.)

here are descriptions of the different effects of cards. Different tiers of the same effect will cancel out smaller tiers:

1. Strength: 1-4, increases damage done by 25%\50%\75%\100%. Amount is # of turns
2. Critical Strike: 1, doubles damage (stacks with strength). Amount x25% chance
3. Self Damage/Recoil: 1, deals X damage to self. Amount is X
4. Block: 1, prevents X damage. Amount is X
5. Heal: 1, heals X health. Amount is X (player exclusive)
6. Regenerate: 1-2, heals health by 1\2. Amount is # of turns (player exclusive)
7. Poison: 1-3, deals 1\2\3 damage, won’t damage past half health. Amount is # of turns
8. Wither: 1-2, deals 1\2 damage, will damage past half health. LASTS UNTIL END OF BATTLE
9. Damage: 1, deals X damage to the enemy. Amount is X
10. Draw: 1, draw X cards. Amount is X (player exclusive)
11. Gain Energy: 1, adds X mana for next turn. Amount is X (player exclusive)
12. Cost: 1, takes away X mana. Amount is X (player exclusive)
