Minecraft Field now open! Well... Sort of. I play on survival mode and have gathered all resources for all my projects. Due to update 1.6 making clay nearly impossible to find, the last remaining brick component is yet to be finished. But I digress. The field comes complete with foul posts, seats, dugouts, box seats and more! Many, many stone and iron tools were lost in the making of this field. Enjoy the video and pictures I have posted!

Additional Notes

The download name is World Domination lol. To get to the actual field, follow the railroad all the way to the end of the line, it ends near a large white building (trust me, you'll know when you see it). Then another railroad picks up, take that through the little tunnel and you're at the field!

I might agree with you, I was stupid when I made it, right now bases are spaced 10 apart, I'm thinking about moving it to 13-15 or so. If I do successfully make a baseball bat/ball mod, I'll have to adjust it based on how long it takes to make it on base "safe".

Yeah, a standard field has the bases 90 feet apart (center to center), which comes to about 27.5 meters. Since 1 block in MC translates (supposedly) to 1 cubic meter it would have to be at least doubled in size. Of course, since it's just MC absolute realism isn't exactly a huge deal but a bit more space would make it seem more authentic.

All in all though it looks pretty good, I like the structure of the stadium itself that you've got around it.

Problem with that is that if it's 27 blocks, it goes wayyyyyyy into the outfield, I did think about that beforehand, but it'd make the field freaking massive and utterly unplayable because then the outfield would need to be another 70 blocks or so. I don't think it'd even render that far and if so just barely lol

Oh, I definitely see where you're coming from, that's why I put the "supposedly" in there, heh. I find that the whole 1cube=1meter concept never seems to actually work out. Building to that scale usually results in a structure that looks to be about twice the size it should be in game. Just go half scale and it'd probably be fine. Extend the lines maybe 3 or 4 and call it a day.

the infield could be bigger, it seems quite small
