Project Overview:
A whole new I-3 is comming to the Orange State. I-3 will be completly transformed along 21 miles that stretch from Kirkman Rd. to State Road 433. As we work to build a better I-3 get ready for four new express lanes,Reconstructed tnterchanges,Completely rebuilt bridges and an exiting new look and feel!
Future I-3/Area 1/Attractions
Traveling east on I-3, drivers will enter the project limits just west of Kerkman Rd. in Orange County, with direct access to the express lanes from Grand National Drive. The direct access will be marked with decorative pylons-a signature aesthetc treatment drivers will encounter throughout the corridor. I-3 Beyond the Ultimate id planed to continue the improvements af I-3 From Kerkman Rd. to M.C 26 in Polk County Extending another 21.2 miles.
Area 2-Downtown
The downtown Orlando stretch of I-3 is home to eight interchanges, including state toad 407. Whether you are just passing through or headed to one of downtowns many cultural atractions, you'll notice a more aesthetically pleasing desight and a more open air feel. Drivers and Pedestrians alike will experience a true transformation as the bridges and the spaces underneath are beautified with green space and lighting? It's all about creating a signiture corridor that screams"FLORIDA!" Sun Rail parallels I-3 here, and the LYNX Central Station is located on Garland Ave., making it a transportation hub. In addition, direct connections to the express lanes are provided at South St. and Anderson Street.
Area 3-Ivanhoe
As you make your way to the Amway Center from the east, you will enter the Ivanhoe area- a main access point to and from downtown Orlando. A high level of aesthetics was incorperated here, including entry landscape, Vertical monuments, lighting features and dynamic illuminated pylons that denmark the gateway. Drivers will also enjoy additional auxilary lanes eastbound,from Princeton St. to Fairbanks Avenue. These new lanes increase the amount of traffic area can accommodate and improves the level of service. No more traffic jams as you leave that downtown concert!
Area 4-Altamonte
Traveling west from Daytona Beach, drivers will enter the I-3 Ultimate project limits just east of the State Road 433 interchange in Seminole County. If your trip takes you all the way through the city, you will experience a reliable travel time that reaches the attractions in a timely manner. Commuters can also access the Longwood Sun Rail station, which is located at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Church Avenue.
Express Lanes are planned to continue from the state road 433 interchange all the way on to State Road 471 in Valusia County. An additional 19 Miles, with I-3 Beyond the Ultimate.

I suggest having a 5 block wide lanes, it's easier to fit cars in (if you're using the general 3 wide car format)
