Mischievous Mansion is a puzzle adventure map inspired by Luigi's Mansion!
In this map, you will embark on a spooky journey exploring a mansion deep into the forest. As you enter, you must hunt for resources and discover clues to overcome the many challenges and puzzles blocking your path.
Soon enough, you will discover that you aren't alone, as the locals themselves don’t take kindly to strangers. Therefore, it’s hunt or be hunted in this Mischievous Mansion!

Teleportation issues can occur in multiplayer. Use /tp <player1> <player2> to solve it.

Back in March of 2023, I announced that Mischievous Mansion II was coming. And despite the lack of news; it's still in development!
Over the past 6 months, I've had to relocate my priorities, so development has unfortunately been relatively slow. I'm still super eager to be working on it, but meeting a release window of 2023 will be difficult. In order to diminish disappointment and false advertising, I've now removed the announcement video on YouTube.
Simply put, Mischievous Mansion II is now coming when it's ready. Just remember; good things come to those who wait...

First, I'm experienced setting up servers, so I don't think it's something I'm doing wrong. Everything is running fine and loads up correctly, but special interactions don't work, ie unlocking doors, new objective, workshop/mansion tps, and other things like that. Neither of us is able to do any of these.
Everything works fine if I run it as a LAN server.
Do you know what the problem is? I was thinking maybe I need to op wherever the command is coming from, but if that's the case I'm not sure how to ID that
You're asking some great questions here. Unfortunately, I can't help you with your server issues that much. You're the first to report this problem, and I have zero experience with this sort of thing. Sorry.
But I can say that the map requires a specific worldspawn location to trigger all the commands. My default is placed at x556 y97 z575. A wild guess, but could your server somehow interfere with worldspawn positions?

I appreciated you getting back, and we're enjoying it anyway. LAN just isn't very good lol
How are your commands run if you don't mind me asking? I didn't see command blocks anywhere and some events definitely look custom. Maybe whatever's firing them doesn't have server permissions

Turns out command blocks are disabled on servers by default, need to be enabled in the server.properties file. Thanks for the info, that was enough to solve the problem.
If I can make a suggestion, maybe note that somewhere on this page.
Beyond that, this has been a super fun map so far and we're looking forward to the next one. Thanks a ton!
