The big A window bings in so much light, and the wood keeps the cabin a cabin, without taking away from the modern aspect of the built. Good work soldier.

Except it's not a box, it has shape, some depth, and is fairly good looking. Is your idea of a modern house a big snaking white box shaped thing where the bedroom's outside?

This style of house does nothing better that any other. It looks lazily and quickly slapped there. This is not only this build. The whole style looks unfinished and under detailed to me. But since I seem to be the minority I would like to know what makes a build like this appealing to you. What am i not seeing / understanding.
This is not meant as an insult to anyone. This is my opinion.

Maybe my first comment was a bit egotistical. Sorry for that.

Anyway, I don't often like modern builds because they look unfinshed and lazy, but this one looked quite pretty to me. It fit it's surroundings, and instead of the usual crappy pallete of grey, white, and black, it was different. It might be because of it's uniqueness, as in it's no other modern build I've seen on this site. Doesn't seem like a characterlss, boring, platonic, white box with some snaking bits.

I respect your opinion though.

Well, different/unique does not automatically mean 'better'. However, it's a style of modern I appreciate. There isn't anything wrong with the conventional 'snaking white' style (most people just get it wrong), but the cabin design is certainly appropriate for its forestry surrounding. A bit too simplistic for my taste in modern, however. It's all a matter of preference really.
