This is one of my more interesting houses. It is based on a design that I found on www.thehousedesigners.com.

Feel free to paste it into your own worlds. However, if you use it in multiplayer, please credit me as the builder.

That's what everyone tells me XD

I prefer wood, because other materials look kind of strange on houses. I NEVER use stone brick or cobblestone for walls, because it looks too industrial. I would use brick if it weren't such a bright red. I've tried some colors of clay, but they just don't look appealing on houses.

I agree with you. I like to use the darker shades of wood because they give them more of an old fashioned country sort of theme. Cobblestone makes it look possibly too old, and sometimes not many other attachment look as good as they would with wood.

That really depends on how you implement it! you can use cobblestone, stone or stonebrick as the foundation/bottom layer of the walls. you can use it in many other ways too, you just gotta use your imagination right! O.o

I have tried that before, and I must say that it doesn't look too bad! Though I certainly try to avoid cobblestone.
