Mustang P-51

It should be noted that it did not look good if you put glass on the top of the
cabin, because it would make the plane
disproportionate in relation to the original model.
Cabe aclarar que no se veía bien si le ponía vidrio en la parte de arriba de la
cabina, porque haría que el avión estuviera desproporcionado en relacion al

The North American P-51 Mustang was a single-engine, long-range fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft designed in 1940 by North American Aviation at the request of the UK Procurement Commission.
When the Commission asked the company to build Curtiss P-40 fighters for the Royal British Air Force (RAF), North American Aviation (NAA) offered the design of a more modern prototype called the NA-73X. Its production began in April and in October it was already flying for the first time, as promised. It was called the North American P-51 Mustang in honor of American horses and powered by the Allison V-1710 engine.
El North American P-51 Mustang fue un avión monomotor, caza y cazabombardero de largo alcance diseñado en 1940 por la compañía North American Aviation a pedido de la Comisión de Adquisiciones del Reino Unido.
Cuando la Comisión solicitó a la compañía la construcción de los caza Curtiss P-40 para la Real Fuerza Aérea Británica (RAF), North American Aviation (NAA) le ofreció el diseño de un prototipo más moderno llamado NA-73X. Su producción comenzó en el mes de abril y en octubre ya estaba volando por primera vez, tal como había sido prometido. Fue llamado North American P-51 Mustang en honor a los caballos estadounidenses e impulsado por el motor Allison V-1710.
