You are clearly 12, .zip is a file format that windows can open with out the need for Winrar or 7zip. You can archive it to a zipfile using winrar.

Btw 7zip archives into .z7 files.

ya i know that now and btw im 15 not 12, also when that kid made the comment 3 months ago i had no idea what he meant and my friend helped me out. lastly .zip and .rar dont do anything i have tested it out and they are basically the same thing

Your testing was inconclusive, .zip can be opened by default windows with no other programs. .rar NEEDS winrar or 7zip to open it.
