Nether portal farm, built on a modded survival server. It is completely automated and kills the pigman via suffocation. Thanks ric_the_bat for helping and adding a new section on top which has now been moved to the side for efficiency. It's next to my cactus and iron farm.
CreditRic_The_Bat gathered resources for the original build and added on to the top.

I don't believe ghasts would fly through. It hasn't happened before, although it would be awful if one did.
