Duval Proposed a Skyscraper plan for the 1.7 Acre site of the Old Hotel Block in Minneapolis (Currently a parking lot) It was sent in but denied due to no budget plan was with it. So it might be resent in with a plan and then the City of Minneapolis will have a new giant dominating the Skyline. The IDS Center was finished in 1973 and is 792 ft and stil holds the title of the worlds largest glass curtain in the world. Minneapolis is home to Mall of America, The Twins , Vikings, Lynx, Wolves, Wild and more. 
2022 is the estimated time this giant will be done if the proposal gets accepted in time before the lot is taken off the market.
