Hey PMC, here's what I've been working on the past few weeks! It's a nordic/viking themed building bundle that you can use to build your very own nordic settlements.

The Pack contains 19 different and unique buildings, all complete with interiors and in the usual .schematic format.

List of Buildings
Barn
Blacksmith
Chapel/Temple
Fort
General Store
Greathall
4 Houses
Inn
Longhouse
Meadhall
Mining Hut/Shack
Seer's Hovel
Tower
Watermill
Well
Windmill

This pack was made using the Conquest resourcepack, it will work with default but you will loose a lot of the detail I have put into this build, so please, just head over to the Conquest page and download it, you'll be doing yourself a great favor! (Credit to Monsterfish for the best resourcepack out there!)

Usage : Get a program called MCEdit and you'll be able to import the schematics into any world you like using the "import" option in MCEdit.

Enjoy!

Terms of Use :

I like everything but the Hay-Bale roofs. Doesn't Conquest have an extra meta-data for thatch instead of using haybales? I think its an oak wood block with a different meta-data. I also think that people tend to prefer default because their computers are incabable of running HD tx packs or they just dont have any expereience building with them. The only truly awesome builder I know of who never uses TX packs is Madnes64 and thats because he likes the nostalgia of a 16x6 texture.

Gah, stop hiding your building ability with HD texture packs! Put it in default unless you are afraid of your true ability...

I agree with NinamanOfficial.
Keralis is one of the world's best builders, and he uses texture packs.

He is not hiding anything. Doesnt matter what kind of texture pack they use, you can see if someone is a good builder or not. If you really care that much about it download it and check it out for yourself in default. Layoff this guy. He did nothing but post good builds, and (holy crap get this guys) used a TEXTURE PACK. Again, a texture pack really does not effect someones building skills.

Rant done :P

If a building looks better in a texture pack, why not use it. Plus, the texture pack has nothing to do with his building skills.

You can build a rubbish building, slap it in any HD texture pack and it looks good. It's more like minecraft photography that minecraft building.

I Disagree completely. Whereas you can build any sort of decent structure and have it turn out ok in default, you actually have to use form for something to look good in most architeture based tx packs. The packs I use are very specific as to the purpose of each block in a structure. Switch from default to the tx pack and looks like some weird jumble of blocks thrown together with a roof instead of the quaint default cottage.

Textures are a big part of a building. If your building looks good, it is a good building. The architecture is supported by texture. If you build a great architectural wonder out of cobblestone and dirt it will still look bad because of textures. Would you paint an awesome sports car pink with blue and yellow dots? I don't think so.

Yes, but why not make it look a thousand times better with a texture pack?
