Well for things like this (Note block songs) it's better to have a video so people can pre-view the project. really having a video on any project is a good thing (I need to start doing them for my projects.)

You dont have to make a video - but people would be more likely to download and diamond if you had some sort of preview.

Doesnt have to be anything fancy - Just screen capping a run through the song would work fine.
