Oheka Castle Library • Block by Block Furniture

Since interior design and furnishing rooms is one of my favourite things in Minecraft, I was quite happy when I found the exact interior on flickr. So this is Part 1 of my new small series: "Block by Block | Oheka Castle". And since this Mansion has so many unique rooms (library, bars, dancing rooms, dining rooms, suites) let me start today with some furniture ideas for the library.
These ideas include my favourite type of bookshelves, niches, a piano my generic type of wall lamps. All of this (except the peony on the anvil, for the tutorial see below) is easily done in vanilla survival.
I hope to inspire you and if you have any suggestions or criticism, please! let me know!

Tutorial for the peony on anvil, requirs VoxelSniper (works with Minecraft 1.7.2)
Place a peony on a dirt or grass block and type these commands:
  • /b s mp (This is the Voxel Snipe No-Physics Brush.)
  • /v 145 (This replaces the block to an anvil.)
  • Then klick with an arrow in your hand on the block the peony is placed on. Be careful with this because with the next blockupdate around the peony it will fall apart. But for screenshots and the looks it works fine. ;D
