Dortmund's old synagogue was built in 1900 and destroyed in 1938.
With 1200 seats, it was one of Europe's largest, and also one of the most beautiful of its time.
I dug up the old construction plans from the city's archives, and re-built the whole thing as best I could in Minecraft, at a scale of 3 blocks to 1 metre.
I'm not a very experienced minecrafter, and my model ist certainly wanting in some respects (like lighting for instance), but I wanted to share this with you all the same. Feel free to improve on it and to use it as you see fit in your worlds and on your servers.
PS: You may need to optimize the world after the import, in order to display everything correctly. For instance, this will fix the "black cobweb" problem and display all of the chandeliers the way they were intended.
Edit 2022/11/17: Added minor details to the facade, optimized the file for better lighting
Edit 2022/12/06: Created & added a schematic.
