The Original World Trade Center consisted of 7 buildings, two massive famous 110 story twin towers that were named tower 1 and tower 2, while the third Trade Center was a 22 story hotel between the towers that were operated by Marriot, buildings 4, 5 and 6 were all low rise buildings built around the plaza, while building 7, a 50 story building was constructed in the 80s, was the last building built.
They were all destroyed in the space of a few hours on the day of 11th September 2001.
This is an attempt of re-construction to the most accurate scale going with Minecraft physics, so some things may be out of place, but I think its possibly the closest You'll ever get in MC to the orignal World Trade Center.
Construction is currently focused on Tower 1, with the lobby interior and exterior completed, construction is expected to get to the 55th floor by June of this year, where the tower will hit the height limit of MC, and ' top out ' as it seems.

Unfortunately, for some reason trying to now run this map turns into an absoultue lag fest, it is near impractical for me to even attempt to try and build this now, I think it may be something to do with the vast amount of lighting required for this humongus building, so until I get a better computer I'm afraid I, sadly can not continue this, for now.

I'm sure that won't be enough to create the building to it's full 1:1 scale, but it's a start.
and by the way, you could just have the buildings as tall as the height limit, like my wtc towers im building. it would still be to scale, but only in length and width.

But it has a little design error , it's not exactly how the old one was , but I figured its close enough.
