Ost Galdor is a stronghold of the Penni, an avari elven people living in Rhûn. Many of them inhabit the Gwinwaith Iaur, the area in Dorwinion at the northern shores of the Rhúnaer, a.k.a. the Sea of Rhûn, and are consequently part of the Kingdom of Dorwinion.

This build is created in survival on LOTRmodded server Ilu Ambar - Quenta Arda and is supported by custom lore that doesn't contradict with the Tolkien Legendarium.

At present, one of two main towers is finished and small section of the ring wall it is part of. Furniture and room dividers haven't been added yet. A basic foundation plan is laid out for the entire central citadel. Future plans also include addition of a lower perimeter defensive wall and many structures to turn the area into a lively roleplay hub.

As the server is created for long term building efforts and related roleplaying, we have and take all the time we need for projects like these.

Materials of construction are all local and comprise the following main materials: stone and dorwinion (chalkstone) brick, white stained clay, redwood, cypress, beech and dark oak timber, orange tiling, and bronze for bars and gates. Gate doors in use are wood-elven, rohirric and rhûnic.
