Description:
The standard housing series KOPE-80 (КОПЭ), built from 1980 to 1985, was a high density, multi-apartment residential building exclusively made for the Moscow region. It was in response to the growing demand for high-rise housing construction in the capital city during the 80s. This series was designed to address the need for increased volume while offering a combination of easy manufacturing processes and a range of standard planning solutions for the mixed use first floor. The name of the "KOPE" (КОПЭ: каталожных объемных планировочных элементов) series represents the essence of the project - the assembly of buildings from cataloged volumetric planning elements.
This series are designed to have between 12 to 22 floors, the exterior panel walls are lined with small crimson or brown tiles. There are 4 apartments per floor for each section. Entrances have two passenger and one freight elevator. Additionally, there are garbage chutes with loading valves located on each floor. This series offers four types of apartments for residents:
