Paraiso (Filipino word for Paradise)
This project is inspired by the typical rural village (barangay) in my country, the Philippines, as Filipinos would often visit their relatives in the province during summer.
Set in a fictional coastal town of San Lucas in the Municipality of San Marino,
this project features:
- Rice fields!
- Rural townhouses
- Pig and chicken farms
- Town Hall
- Health Centre
- Chapel
- Elementary school
- Public Market
- Communications Tower
- A few vehicles
- A beautiful beach side
Some interesting facts:
- Most traditional houses are built with tall posts made of bamboo supporting its base to prevent flooding.
- Some houses are small and light enough to be carried by several people. The activity of transporting a house from one place to another is called "bayanihan", which means "cooperative endeavour" in English.
- Farmers do not usually use tractors to harvest, but use carabaos equipped with "large rakes" instead (if that's what it's called lol)
Some foliage that I used:
Eremilion - Oak trees
https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/realistictreesandmanyotherthingsworkinprogress/
Murokmakto - bushes
https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/custom-tree-pack-vol1--boreal-forest-taiga/
Diamond and favourite if you like this project
Enjoy! =D
