So I feel pretty lucky that the admins of this server allowed me to have fly to photograph this base.
I made it in like january on a survival server on which I had been playing, which will remain unnamed for the time being.

Anyways, most of it would actually work on a factions server. I would recommend the narrow-base tower for a home on any PVP server - covered in 2-layer thick water on TNT-enabled ones - because it's easily defensible, can easily be cut off from the bottom if you are under the threat of a raid, is a great vantage point for lookouts and archers, and it just, in my opinion, looks intimidating and awesome. It's the only way I build my bases on PVP servers.

The rest of the build is just meeting places for faction members and friends. I have the great hall, a central plaza with a marketplace and an arena-style council ring, some roads and a neat bridge.
