This is a scale Minecraft replica of the ship Poseidon featured in the 2006 film of the same name.

This project is currently only the exterior of the Posideon, however I am working on the interiors and plan to upload it in full (including crew areas) as well as a capsised version when complete. Due to this being a hobby of mine and the high level of detail, it will probably take me a few years (the exterior alone took me around eight months) however I have included my current work-in-progress version of both the Grand Lobby and the Ballroom in the photos.

At 337 blocks long and 68 blocks from keel to funnel, this is the only Poseidon model available on Planet Minecraft that is an exact 1:1 scale replica in which one block equals one metre. Below are the specs that I modelled the ship off of (according to an IGN 'behind the scenes' article promoting the release of the film).
