Go ahead and download this preview of the armor system and forging system! It's not all the way complete, but is fully functional! You'll get the idea of what it is once you download it :)
(NOTE: This project was made for the LATEST SNAPSHOT - 1.9 snapshots - it will not work on earlier versions!)
Let me explain something about recipes:
Go up to the forge (The large obsidian structure to the left of spawn)
The melting chamber is where you will need to place recipes in order to craft marerials.
When you put a recipe in the melting chamber (or compressor) it will take around 5 to 7 seconds to work.
The finished material will appear in the Molten Material chamber (to the right of the Melting Chamber)
To see the recipes (for the front of the forge), go directly in front of spawn:
there you will see a line of dispensers and chests.
These dispensers and chests have items in them.
The dispenser is a recipe, and the chest is the outcome for that recipe.
These recipes apply to the Metling Chamber at the forge.
For Crafting the armor:
Go behind the forge:
There should be a large number of command blocks and dispensers, with one dispenser attached directly to the back of the Forge.
Each dispenser next to a command block has a sign with a name on it. These dispensers have recipes for the items named on the sign. Use these recipes in the "Crafting Station" dispenser attached to the back of the Forge.
NOTE: Next to the "pool," there is a small non functioning forge. Next to that is a stone pile with a dispenser saying "Compression Chamber"
If you place one Molten Crucibal Iron (made from 3 molten iron, which is crafted by placing three iron in the Melting Chamber) in the center of the 3 by 3 grid, and surround it in obsidian, you will get one Omnidian Iron! This Omnidian Iron is used in the recipe for "Molten Omnidian Shade."
This is the best I can do to explain the recipes until I release a video on it.
