Tired of finding the same ordinary structures in the Minecraft world, I decided to scour the internet Minecraft community and my own imagination to come up with new structures to build and spread across a freshly generated land of my own.
This is the fourth in a series of projects that show off various locations from across the world of Nyvarld.
The first spotlight project showcases the Giant Glowstone Tree.
The second spotlight project showcases the Snowy Mausoleum and Crypt.
The third spotlight project showcases the Forest Graveyard.
This timeworn pyramid can be found in the desert, constructed as a burial monument to a jealous king whose people worshipped him as a god in temples around the land.
He was buried with his treasure and servants, which means there are bound to be secrets hidden in the vaults inside. The King's Chamber upstairs has an air vent in the back of the room, letting in some small amount of sunlight/ Also, among the pillars constructed with gold from the king's personal treasury, you will find that the slab on the top of the sarcophagus has been pushed to the side, exposing some of the coffin underneath.
Downstairs, the Main Hallway lacks the ventilation present in the King's Chamber, leading to a stale darkness from centuries of disuse: a perfect home for the dead and undead. At the each end of the pillared hallway you will find stairs down to the Servants' Chambers. It was said that when the king died, all of his favorite servants were immediately executed in order to be buried along with their lord. While it was considered a great honor to be among the chosen few, these servants never accepted their fate willingly and would often be tortured before their execution to teach them of the glory of their inescapable destiny.
