"We need to make this weapon fly. Let's build an aircraft around it"
The RAH-16 Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter or "Humming Bird" is a lightly armored reconaissance helicopter made for the Legion Air force. (Based on the AH-6) What's unique about this vehicle is that it is built around its primary weapon, the dual gatling cannons in the front. So basically, the Heli is just an accessory for the Dual gatling cannon if you think about it.
It is known as the "Hmming bird" for the soft hum it creates when flying.
The craft is operated by two personnel, a pilot and a guner. The pilot (name says it all) pilots the aircraft, while the gunner operates the dual gatling cannons. The gunner also operates as the co-pilot. If the gunner is absent. the pilot is able to operate the dual gatling cannons in the frnot, however, the cannons cannot rotate and is fixed.
The RAH-6 is widely used in the Legion airforce as well as other branch of the military. Two Hummingbirds are often always stationed with the Thunderhead Class Assault Gunships from the Legion Aerial Navy. The Army and the Marines also call in Hummingbirds for CAS when needed.
