After the fall of the great city of Argorath, the dwarves moved eastward in Atherna in search of their new home.
They found a lovely mountain range, and built it near Nerav's Barrow, one of the last known locations where the Nerav
were said to had lived. They have a very long bridge leading up to the gate, so that attackers are more prone to be exhausted once they reach the gate, and can be easy targets for the archers, and any dwarves that stand outside the gate. Inside, there's a market in the courtyard, and ways to get access to the walls, as well as enter the deeper part of it. Some say, that Ravenhammer's insides are so deep, that it is almost endless, and that some parts, are forgotten.
