If you want to do this you obviously need Minecraft, but you also need a NBTExplorer to edit the files in your world. So if you don't have one yet click on this link below to download one:

If you want to ride some entities you need to make sure that you have the capitals correct.
Here are some examples.
- ArmorStand
- Arrow
- Bat
- CaveSpider
- Creeper
- Endermite
