Dear PlanetMinecraft community,
this is the RMS Berengaria, an oceanliner by the british Cunard Line. Berengaria was built in 1913 as a German ship (then called "Imperator") and was handed over to Britain after WW1 as part of the reparations following the treaty of Versailles. She was in service for Cunard from 1921 until she was sold for scrap in 1938. During her service time she underwent several modifications, most notably her conversion from a coal-burning to a oil-burning vessel. I decided to build the most berengary Berengaria, meaning a very late version from about 1936, where most of her changes are already included in the Minecraft replica. Other differences from the original Imperator-version of the ship include i.e. the removal of the steerage ("4th class") and the implementation of a tourist class, the "long gallery" on E-Deck (connecting 1st class cabins and tourist class cabins) and several changes in public spaces. In order to compare the two versions of the ship, feel free to also download the Imperator from my profile ;)
