Lore (Centrum Defense Air Fleet)
With increasingly heavier warships being constructed by nations in opposition to the Centrum Federation, the necessity for a better torpedo bomber with a heavier payload arose. A single aerial torpedo while significant in the amount of damage it can inflict on a target airship is unable to sufficiently penetrate the heavier armor of the newer battleships fielding spaced plates.
The resulting design acted as a force multiplier for the fleet giving the new aircraft double the payload of the older torpedo bombers and allowed them to fire four torpedoes in order to punch through the tough plated armor and damage the interior of the warship. The increased number of aerial torpedoes fired at a target would also make it difficult for a successful interception to take place by increasing the number of incoming projectiles that must be engaged.
Though this increased payload came with the drawback that the aircraft were heavier than their predecessors and had a slower speed. Armor protection and AA Dispenser load were sacrificed in the final design in order to allow them to maintain their range and speed though this would make them a lot less difficult to shoot down once they entered AA range of the target ship.

The overall design is based on the Silver Empire Heavy Interceptor in which both mount four torpedoes instead of the traditional two. The Skua however features an open air cockpit and lacks automatic AA guns and must be manually fired.
Movecraft Compatibility
The torpedoes can only be fired using the Movecraft plugin but the AA firecharge dispensers function without it. If you wish to fly the airskiff around you can download the Movecraft-Plugin from the Airship Pirates Dev GitHub page or Movecraft on Spigot.
