Rush Building
The Rush Building is located at Drexel University in Philadelphia PA. The building was aquired by Drexel in 1961. It started as a tuberculosis ward in the early 1900s, before being purchased by Drexel. It is named after Benjamin Rush, who was a renown doctor and signed teh Declaration of Independence. Drexel opened the building as the Graduate School of Library Science, but with the increasing importance of computers in college life, it was changed to the college of Computer and Informatics. The building includes a small lush courtyard that gives a break from the hussle of the city.
