Merry Christmas everyone!
I decided to make an improvement to my JukeBox in one command by adding some Christmas songs to it, and so I came up with this adaptation of Santa Claus is coming to town in one command (well, actually, two commands).
How does it work?
It's simple. It relies on my original JukeBox (which you can find here). It adds a new block which contains all the notes to play the song. A cursor slides through the lines and "reads" the notes and makes the corresponding sounds. All of this in very few command blocks!
How do I get it?
It's actually very easy! You ony need to do a few things.
- First, get yourself a commandblock in your world, by typing "/give @p command_block" in chat.
- Then, open it and enter the code you find at this link
- Click on Needs redstone to change it to Always active, and then choose Done
- Repeat the operation with the second command, which you can find here
- Enjoy!
Which versions of Minecraft can this be used in?
This contraption was made for Minecraft 1.11, so it will not work in earlier versions. Should there be new updates that change the mechanics and the syntax of command blocks, I will update the code as needed on my website. I will put all of the versions it's compatible with next to the corresponding command. Link to my website: site
