Welcome to my build of the Settlers of Catan in Minecraft!
The Settlers of Catan is an award winning strategy board game created by Klaus Teuber. This version was created by MaziCrafter during season 4 of Scarworld, the Patreon server for GoodTimesWithScar.
The world consists of:
Choose a colour, don your eytra and armor and start your adventure settling the island of Catan!
For the best experience, play in survival mode to avoid accidentally breaking the island and structures. You might also want to ensure clouds are disabled and you lock the day/night cycle. Everything you need has been provided on the player platform in marked barrels.
Feel free to share this map with others, host it on private servers and use it in streams or videos so long as credit is given to the original creator.

The only automated part of the game is the dice, the rest (such as dealing out resources, placing pieces on the board) you need to do yourself using the facilities and resources provided. Once the game is finished you can either restore the world download over the top to reset things, or manually clear up ready for the next game. Full instructions on how to play are provided in a book on the player platform - do check that out.
There may be other Minecraft Catan options out there with more automation... but this was intended to be a more immersive experience where you have to do down to the island and place your pieces yourself. If everyone knows the rules and doesn't get too distracted by shenanigans, a 3 player game will take around 1.5 hours and a 4 player game will take around 2-2.5 hours.
Have fun!
