Project Overview:

This project aims to recreate the seven wonders of the ancient world, namely:
- The Pharos of Alexandria [Completed],
- The Great Pyramid of Giza [Completed]* (Does not have the marble casing that covered the pyramid until c~1300AD),
- The Hanging Gardens of Babylon [Completed]*,
- The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus [Completed],
- The Colossus of Rhodes [Completed],
- The Statue of Zeus [Temple 80% completed, Work yet to begin on Statue (Hey, statues in MC are hard!)],
- The Temple of Artemis [0% Completed].

All of the wonders will be built on a 1:1 scale (or as close as possible), with measurements researched from various sources. They will be built in creative mode as building these in survival would take a ridiculous amount of time! Mods have been used in order to detail the structures as close as possible to how they would have looked all those years ago (A list of the mods used can be found below).

Note:
These structures have been built on my private server so it is unlikely that there will be a world download due to the world file being quite large (custom built map!). There is also the fact that two of the wonders were built by other users so I would not want to distribute their work without permission.  


*The Great Pyramid comes from the Giza Necropolis map created by Goopen (I think, I downloaded it around July 2013) so go check out his project that aims to complete the whole necropolis fully as it looked in Ancient Egypt:
