I found out that droppers can be used with the same behaviour as BUD's have, so i made this silent hipster button.

it is a hipster button, also known as magic button. you can use it if you want buttons to be at eye height, but you dont want any visible redstone

And, how did you do the screenshot ? It does not look like minecraft

thanks, yeah you can make it one wide, but i wanted it to be compact, rather than one wide.
i just went couple blocks away and used optifine's zoom feature
