Inspired by my attempt to build a small modern bookstore in a plot full of market stalls, comes a modern bookstore that can fit in a single chunk. The lower floor holds the books while the upper floor serves as a coffee shop and reading area.

One of the biggest challenges in this build was trying to design the windows. With the shapes I wanted to include in the build, I wouldn't possibly be able to glaze the windows without severely compromising what little space I had inside. Therefore, I chose to leave all the window spaces open and up to the imagination.

Among my inspirations for the style were the Modernism typified by Oscar Niemeyer's buildings in Brasilia. I was especially inspired by their simple forms and geometric regularity. I hope that you enjoy this build.
